Ballet San Antonio Junior Company

Mission:

Ballet San Antonio Junior Company is a pre-professional program that provides special coaching, choreography and performing experience to qualified talented students throughout the year.  Performance experience is a critical component to a student’s artistic and technical development.  This program will provide students the necessary environment to pursue a career in dance, working towards obtaining a college scholarship, or just fulfilling a passion for dance.

Requirements:

• Must be 10 to 18 years of age
• Must take 3-4 ballet classes per week depending upon level in addition to one jazz and one modern class at BSAA
• Must take BSAJC company class
• Must be available for rehearsals on Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons, and on select weekday evenings after class.  Evening rehearsals will end no later than 9:00pm.  Saturday rehearsals will end no later than 6:00pm.
• Classes and rehearsals are mandatory.  Repeated absences are cause for dismissal.
