Em Watson began her career as a dance photographer in New York City after graduating from New York University’s Gallatin School for Individualized Study. She has worked with companies and institutions including The Guggenheim Museum (Works & Process), YoungArts foundation, Joyce Theater, New York University, and many dance companies in NYC and beyond. Her photo and video work has been featured in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, Pointe Magazine, Dance Magazine, Ballet Review, and others.

In 2020, Em co-founded Web Weavers Design Studios, a strategy-centric design and media studio. She has worked with dozens of institutions around the world to build functional, strategic, and beautiful digital systems to support their growing businesses.

Em began working with Ballet San Antonio as Director of Administration for the 2024-25 season, and shifted to Director of Marketing for the 2025-26 season.

Em studied at the International School of Storytelling in Forest Row, England in 2021, and has performed as a storyteller around the US and the UK.
