Evin Nicole Eubanks

HOMETOWN: San Antonio, TX

JOINED BSA: 2017

Evin Nicole Eubanks is the Chief Executive Officer of Ballet San Antonio, where she leads the organization’s strategic vision, administrative operations, and community engagement initiatives. Since assuming the role in 2017, Eubanks has significantly expanded the company’s impact through innovative programming and dynamic partnerships across the San Antonio community.

With more than two decades of experience in the performing arts, Eubanks brings a unique blend of corporate, creative, and nonprofit leadership. Prior to joining Ballet San Antonio, she spent 10 years with UBS Global Asset Management in Chicago, where she held roles in Human Resources and later served as Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Americas.

Eubanks also has an extensive background in the performing arts, with accomplishments spanning operations, stage management, production, and board service. In 2010, she transitioned into arts leadership as Executive Director of the Chicago Dancing Festival, one of the nation’s premier free dance festivals. In this role, she managed large-scale productions featuring world-renowned dance companies and welcomed annual audiences of over 20,000.

Under her leadership at Ballet San Antonio, the organization has seen transformative growth. In 2019, she secured funding to establish a professional home for the company in Castle Hills. Two years later, she spearheaded the reestablishment of the company’s official school, now known as the School of Ballet San Antonio.

Eubanks has championed accessibility and arts education, particularly for youth in underserved communities.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led the organization in producing a filmed version of The Nutcracker, reaching more than 67,000 students across Texas in 2020, free of charge. This virtual performance program continues today, providing free access to over 100,000 children annually.

Her dedication to outreach is also reflected in initiatives like “Learning That Moves You,” a free dance education program in collaboration with local partners such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio, Haven for Hope, Roy Maas Youth Alternatives and Girls Inc.  In the 2024-25 season, Ballet San Antonio launched “Send the Kids to the Ballet,” a new initiative providing free tickets and roundtrip transportation to children facing personal, economic, or geographic barriers to attending a live performance.  In its inaugural year, the program brought more than 5,000 children to a Ballet San Antonio performance at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, entirely free of charge to the children and community partners.

Eubanks holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts from Texas Tech University, an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Palo Alto College and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Her dedication to community service is longstanding. She is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio, Class 44, and a member of the Castle Hills Woman’s Club and the Brewster County Courthouse Ladies of the Lawn.  She is also an alumna of Alpha Phi Fraternity and the Junior League of San Antonio.
